New rejections for Konaković: SDA of Sandžak and North Macedonia will not respond, calling method deemed unserious

(Patria) - The Party of Democratic Action of Sandžak will not respond to the invitation of the president of the People and Justice party, which he sent to the leaders of Bosniaks in the region, Patria learns unofficially.

As with previous rejections, SDA of Sandžak also considers it unserious for a party leader to send invitations for such a meeting in this manner, and they are expected to officially comment on the matter today.

A rejection also came from SDA of North Macedonia.

"The gathering of representatives of Bosniak parties from the region in Sarajevo, announced by the president of People and Justice, Elmedin Konaković, is controversial on several grounds," states the press release from SDA of North Macedonia and its president, Dželjo Hodžić.

They add that "Bosniaks think for themselves and should not replicate the models that Aleksandar Vučić's head uses to coordinate the policy of Serbs in the region".

"Respecting the policy of sovereignty and territorial integrity of the countries in the region, as well as the role of Bosniaks from the region in the development of democratic values in those countries, it is a bad message that Konaković from Sarajevo assesses the status of Bosniaks in other countries," the press release stated.

It is added that "in such an 'action', Vučić gets an alibi for his collusion with Dodik and like-minded politicians in the countries of the region".

Earlier, SDA and the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina announced their stance on the invitation and rejections.
