The Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg will decide on the decision of that court, which stated that the appellant Slaven Kovačević's active voting right is endangered.
And this is a success of the coordinated action of Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković with a number of RH officials in the European Union, but also a coordinated action of HDZ BiH and Christian Schmidt from BiH.
Everything was done to prevent the ECHR ruling in the Kovačević v. BiH case from paving the way for Bosnia and Herzegovina towards a modern state, the rule of law, which would as such be far more successful on the European path.
However, we know who the enemies of creating a modern state of Bosnia and Herzegovina are and who ultimately benefits from ethno-clerical decision-making in BiH for the final plans of dividing this country.
Now we know, and we should have known earlier, that there are those in the structures who declaratively advocate for a progressive state, who wear a patriotic mask, hiding the submissive face of traitors.
The key to defending the possibility of having the rule of law in this country one day and an electoral system that gives every citizen an equal right to run in a political race, wherever they live and work, was SEVLID HURTIĆ.
Hurtić is the Minister of Human Rights and Refugees, but human rights and refugees interest him as much as kiwi production somewhere in South Asia. Because, if Minister Hurtić had paid more attention to his job, i.e., his ministerial obligations, and less to checking tickets for his travels, he would have known what needed to be done to enable Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens one of the most important decisions concerning our democratic future.
Instead of working, Hurtić engaged in calculating activities, trying to hide behind bureaucracy and other members of the Council of Ministers. Although most qualified, he did not get involved in the case in which he should have been the most agile.
His (in)action at full capacity stemming from his competencies only confirms that the words I dedicated to Hurtić a year ago made sense, and I wrote then: "Human rights, thanks to the projected policy of the Sarajevo trio, will be managed by a cadre of Milorad Dodik, formally from the Green Party and even more formally a Bosniak, Sevlid Hurtić. And everything will be legitimate and legal until crucial decisions are made. And then the Bosniak Hurtić will show the rest of Forta and the Bosniaks Elmedin Konaković and Nermin Nikšić what a job they have done. Everything will be according to the Constitution and rules, but nothing will be the same. It will be the final end of the most serious post-war deception of Bosniaks in the projects of the Movement for the State and the 'Osamorka' (today the 'Trojka')."
Thus, Hurtić returned the favor and continues to care about human rights that he did not want/dare to defend.
Elmedin Konaković, who often likes to boast that he brought Bosnia and Herzegovina back to the centers where decisions about it are made, remained stubbornly silent on the issue of the Kovačević v. BiH ruling.
His policy of playing dead when BiH could be enabled to breathe by freeing itself from the shackles of tripartite ethno-rule also has a deep background in the fact that he is more loyal to Croatian policies than to the state he swore to serve: Because Konaković has long advocated for the continuity of rule for HDZ and Dragan Čović. The fact that the head of BiH diplomacy, who did not dare to state proven facts about Croatia's role in the international armed conflict in BiH in Zagreb, clearly defined Elmedin Konaković's paths. Of course, he also knows how to change his flight routes, but that's not for this text.
To summarize, illegitimate agents, whom we have every right to say misrepresented themselves, filed a request for the Grand Chamber to be involved and to decide on the Kovačević v. BiH ruling. Plenković and his diplomatic-political squadron, reinforced by Schmidt and Čović, managed to turn that request into a kind of victory.
And the information that the possibility that the decision in the Kovačević case would endanger the consociational model of power distribution in BiH was mentioned as a reason for accepting the request at the Court in Strasbourg should awaken pro-state policy. But there is none, so we will wait for human rights for a long, long time.
In fact, we will wait until we realize that both Konaković and Hurtić and the 'Trojka' are a deception that has set us back and pushed us into an abyss where we await disappearance. Because, the day Plenković's friend Schmidt completes the tasks he has undertaken, Bosnia and Herzegovina will be a shell of a state, and Konaković, Hurtić, and the like will convince us that this is good for the European path.
We will know they are lying to us, the only question is whether we will be ready to enter the fight from a zone of deep conformism and policies of not offending. Waiting for Konaković or Hurtić to do it is pointless, because the comfort of their chairs, the power, and the money they have obtained are a strong hook on which their old separatist partners, who grew up on the bones of Bosniaks and from the criminal projects of RS and HZHB, keep them.
Because, how does the sentence go - if I had known that Bosniaks were so easy to buy, I would never have waged war with them!
