The public awaits the imprisonment of Fadil Novalić, former Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, at the same time as the International Monetary Fund, after a held conference, tells us that we must go into debt, and that after many years the Federation of BiH is in deficit!
It seems we are all heading to prison, some to debt slavery, and others due to a verdict handed down by the Court of BiH, about which the Constitutional Court of BiH will certainly give its assessment, as will even higher instances in Strasbourg. And today it is hard not to recall the announcements of the International Institute for Middle Eastern and Balkan Studies (IFIMES), which in its analysis of Bosnia and Herzegovina titled "From non-paper to creeping war" first mentioned Operation Tower – aimed at dismantling the economic system of BiH.
Although it sounds incredible, what we are experiencing today clearly indicates that some 'operation' or a higher power is the main brain behind everything happening in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Anyone who does not believe in such scenarios should look into North Macedonia, where a similar operation was carried out, coordinated from Budapest with the aim of toppling the government of Zoran Zaev. And they succeeded.
Where the IMF and EBRD cannot meddle, such as in Turkey – the economy thrives. Erdogan will admit that the Turkish economy was managed by IMF officials, and that they changed that, repaid the IMF debt, and since then have been free to act in accordance with their own interests, not those of the IMF and global powers. And lo and behold, Erdogan does not beg the European Union for EU membership, as we today beg for the opening of negotiations. Because it is a matter of power and how strong you are.
But let us return to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Nothing is ever coincidental, including the current moment. At the time when Novalić receives the decision to go to prison, the IMF report arrives.
And so let us ask ourselves whether Novalić, who now has little reason to exaggerate, lie, or misrepresent, is nevertheless losing his freedom at this moment due to some dangerous scheming in certain global power centers.
"I changed one situation and that is probably why I am guilty. From the war until now, we were in a state of uncertainty. We doubled the revenue of the FBiH budget so that neither healthcare workers nor miners were a problem anymore, and at the same time we no longer needed the World Bank and the IMF. It may be that this is the beginning of some guilt of mine, but above all I achieved that instead of billions that were always in loss, I had a positive balance of 1,200,000,000 KM throughout," said Novalić.
He said this before the official IMF report, which will confirm this statement. The Federation of BiH is now in deficit! And that after less than a year of the imposed government of Nermin Nikšić.
"Fiscal reserves have been reduced due to increased budget deficits, large debt repayments, and withdrawals of government deposits. Some budget payments from 2023 have been deferred. Financing needs this year are therefore large in both entities. Entity budgets foresee significant issuances of debt instruments, some of which have yet to be precisely identified," the IMF says.
We have learned that the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina plans to renew the repayment of treasury bills in the amount of up to 360 million KM and raise 740 million KM from domestic and foreign sources.
But it is easier for the IMF to criticize the authorities and talk about how they need to reduce financing needs, while at the same time allocating funds and creating debt slaves, than to 'play' games with empowered and solvent states!
And the Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH are a separate story. Although they prosecuted and even convicted the 'notorious' four in the Respirators case, from which only Jelka Milićević was deemed innocent, their burden does not cease.
The bells still ring about legal uncertainty, compromised personnel, judges, prosecutors who no longer know whose interests they serve, but it is never in the interest of law and justice. Because justice has long since ceased to reside in the Court building, and soon we will all, like retired judge Branko Perić (from hero to exile), quote Mamić and say 'it is better for a judge to go with a Rolex than with a good lawyer'.
Of course, provided the judge is free, because it is not unusual for judges in BiH to be arrested, even the president of the court, while they play moral pillars. And nothing fertile grows from a swamp, and the BiH judiciary has long been a pond with crocodiles, and 'victims' are easily set up in the system we live in, under the influence of foreign factors.
The question is also what will be the news when Fadil goes to prison (counting on the Prosecutor's Office media plan), and what will fill the newspaper columns, and how long will the BiH Prosecutor's Office 'pull the wool over the public's eyes' with the 'Respirators', as if we have forgotten about the Polish hospital in Banja Luka, industrial oxygen given to people in the RS, the unresolved murders of David Dragičević, Dženan Memić, denial of genocide, undermining national security, the coup d'état, all the way to the unresolved murder of Jozo Leutar, or the terrible mass crimes against Bosniaks such as the Biljani case where we still have no indictment, or as we have no indictment for the torture endured by camp inmates in camps under HVO control!
