(Patria) - The ban on working on Sundays will be abolished on its own, believes economist and Member of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Admir Čavalić (Party for BiH).
Čavalić points out that there is no need for anyone to announce or implement it, condemning the publication of fake posters on social networks in which the current opposition (SDA-DF-SBiH) is presented as an advocate for the "abolition of non-working Sundays".
There is no "non-working Sunday", Čavalić emphasizes, pointing out that there is a ban on working only in some retail outlets on Sundays in the Federation of BiH, excluding Orašje, RS, and Brčko District.
- There is no country in the world with a similar solution. There is also a convenience store economy developing from this decision. What is the goal? For a worker to work on Sunday around 1 or 2 AM in a convenience store or at a gas station? Or, in a betting shop, bakery, and the like - Čavalić asks.
He repeats once again that the ban on working on Sundays will be abolished on its own.
- It started with the political exemption of Orašje and keeping seven other potential exemptions in a drawer. It continued with the government's promises of "16+2" and "families can work".
It will continue with further complications. It's only a question of whether it will end when everyone stops believing in this notorious law ("the emperor has no clothes") as in the case of Zavidovići, or when everyone becomes a convenience store - says Čavalić.
In an interview with the News Agency Patria (NAP), he says that it is obvious that the election campaign has started, so an army of bots has been activated, creating fake narratives through social networks.
- Who is doing this? Probably certain criminal or other circles who are trying to hide certain data or create lies. I personally stand behind every piece of data, behind every analysis.
I am not afraid to discuss in Parliament, I am not afraid of a face-to-face debate live on a show, but I think this is terrible what is being done because the people are being confused.
I ask again, who is doing this? Probably the ruling party. And why? Because they are afraid of the truth, arguments, and data.
However, the truth simply cannot be hidden, it cannot be moved aside. These are not just statistical data, these are human destinies.
People are getting fired, they go to shop in RS, they wait in line in front of convenience stores. More and more workers are working in convenience stores.
We see that work is being done in Zavidovići, we see that Orašje has received exemptions. Seven more municipalities and cities are waiting for exemptions.
There are many irregular things here, and that is why I claim that this entire concept will collapse on its own. No one is needed for that, nor does it need to be planned - concludes Čavalić in an interview with NAP.
