For over a year, the position of Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption and Coordination of Fight against Corruption has been vacant, and according to the distribution of positions, a Bosniak should be appointed to lead it.
For almost a year, the Council of Ministers of BiH has been missing one minister from the Serb people, and HDZ BiH received the position of Minister of Security of BiH, even though this was not a coalition agreement.
Since the appointment of the current Council of Ministers of BiH in January 2023, the position of expert of the Council of Ministers of BiH in the Management Board of the Indirect Taxation Authority has been vacant after Ismet Suljendić's mandate expired. The only Bosniak in the Management Board of the ITA is Zijad Krnjić, and he is now the target of the most base attacks simply because he represents the interests of the Federation of BiH and wants the entity of Rs to return what it owes to the Federation of BiH. And instead of the Government of FBiH firmly supporting Krnjić, Nermin Nikšić's Government has already explored options for his dismissal before his mandate expires. However, Nikšić admitted that this is not possible and that his mandate expires in 2026.
But Nikšić, for example, has not explained why the Council of Ministers of BiH keeps the position of a member in the Management Board of the ITA vacant, but the attack is directed at the only Bosniak in the Management Board, led by SNSD, with Trojka and HDZ joining in.
Krnjić's stance that no regulations, decisions, or anything else will be adopted until new coefficients for the distribution of funds from VAT to the entities and the settlement between the entities, according to which Rs owes FBiH 100 million KM, are finally adopted, has met with great support from citizens and parts of pro-Bosnian policies, who finally welcomed a firm "NO" to blackmailers. Krnjić emphasized after today's session that he will not back down and that he is only seeking action in accordance with the law.
This is not the first time that Trojka parties have worked for the interests of SNSD or HDZ, and they have not paid much attention to the catastrophic situation with the number of employed Bosniaks in BiH institutions, where there is a shortage of about 800. Ministers from Trojka, at least Zukan Helez and Elmedin Konaković, who are Bosniaks, have not asked the Minister of Finance and Treasury to correct the imbalance in their ministry to the detriment of Bosniaks or the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations. For example, they have not addressed the structure in the Ministry of Transport and Communications, headed by Edin Forto from the 'others' category, who claims that his expertise is more important than national structure. According to this interpretation, it seems that there are not enough expert Bosniaks who can work in this ministry.
For years, the media have been requesting data on the national structure in the three state police agencies and warning about the shortage of Bosniak cadres, as well as in leadership positions. And precisely these days, Trojka deputies, without any consultations with trade unions or serious analysis, are proposing amendments to two laws that directly affect police agencies and the salaries of police officers and soldiers.
When it comes to police agencies, Trojka ministers have suddenly fallen silent about the dismissal of Darko Ćulum, especially after the appointment of the Deputy Director of SIPA, Dragan Andrić. Ćulum's mandate expired last year, and from March to July this year, he left his position at the invitation of Milorad Dodik, for which a criminal complaint was filed, and Trojka parties are no longer seeking his dismissal. The excuse that SNSD cadres do not want it can no longer be used, especially since there is a ranking list with names for the director from last year that the Council of Ministers of BiH has never considered. Ćulum has long since met the conditions for retirement, and if no candidate from the ranking list has support, then the competition should be repeated.
And out of all the problems they don't know how to handle, and positions they have either intentionally or out of ignorance handed over to SNSD and HDZ, Trojka has attacked the only Bosniak in the Management Board of the ITA who said NO to SNSD.
Instead of being grateful that someone finally legitimately and rightfully showed their teeth and used the mechanism at their disposal to collect money for the Federation of BiH, Nikšić joined the shameless attacks on Krnjić.
The public has already seen how Trojka makes appointments, especially at the FBiH level, where almost every appointment is subject to checks and investigations, and they have even led to the collapse of Sarajevo International Airport, where they appointed a new director contrary to the Statute because the previous one was under measures prohibiting him from performing his duties.
