Konaković's Diplomatic Scandals and Quarrel with the Netherlands Will Not Help BiH on the Path to the EU

(Patria) - Elmedin Konaković, as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is damaging Bosnia and Herzegovina's diplomatic relations with the Netherlands due to his personal problems.

Such a conclusion can be drawn from his latest address on social media.

Namely, it is a diplomatic scandal to ask the Dutch Embassy in BiH to sanction the reporting of Dutch media. It is clear that he is trying this in BiH, he doesn't even hide such ambitions, so he says that the situation in the Public RTV system will improve when people who work as the "Trojka" policies demand sit in management. Only when journalist associations reacted did Konaković have to explain what he meant, so he tried to mitigate the damage by saying that the "Trojka" policy is for independent media!?

And now he is escalating his scandal.

Konaković is putting Bosnia and Herzegovina in an extremely awkward and uncomfortable position with his reckless moves because he equates his personality and problems with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH, and even with the entire country, which should not suffer because of any individual.

Considering the role of the Netherlands in the process of opening negotiations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Union, it should be known that Konaković's statements could lead to the Netherlands definitively not approving the opening of negotiations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Union.

The diplomatic scandals produced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs will not help BiH on the path to the EU.
