WHEN KOJOVIĆ PRAISES: Uk fantastically indebted the Sarajevo Canton, Pozder safari minister, Hasičević introduced working Sunday, Sabina for the Americas!

Former president of Our Party and current state representative in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Predrag Kojović, during an appearance on TVSA, tried to praise his party colleagues, but he didn't quite succeed.

Speaking about the cantonal prime minister Nihad Uk, Kojović assessed that he is fantastic.

"I think that the financial situation into which the Sarajevo Canton has been brought is something that very few prime ministers would have managed to endure," said Kojović.

However, it is precisely Uk who has been prime minister of the Sarajevo Canton since March 2023 and heads the government that emptied the Sarajevo Canton budget, so now the Sarajevo Canton is constantly borrowing and patching the budget deficit with loans. But, according to Kojović, the lack of money seems to be someone else's fault, not the government led by Uk. That same government has been unable for two years to pay subsidies to young people for the purchase of their first property under the public call from 2023, and other payments are also delayed.

Kojović also wanted to praise his party colleagues from the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nasiha Pozder and Amir Hasičević, but he didn't manage that very well either. Pozder is the minister of tourism and environment, and Hasičević is the minister of trade.

"Especially progress has been made, although it's not a sexy topic and it's not talked about, but one of the biggest advances has been made in two branches. One is environmental protection and solving landfills, where Minister Pozder is doing a fantastic job, she is like some safari traveler, I watch every day, she is somewhere in the field at those landfills every day and has done a lot in Goražde and Mostar. And our Minister Hasičević, who introduced working Sunday, which I think is a civilizational achievement that we will leave behind," said Kojović.

If Pozder is a "safari traveler," then in translation that means the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is some kind of wilderness or that Pozder is visiting wild animals. And he praised Hasičević for introducing working Sunday, instead of non-working Sunday, the consequences of which the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is still suffering today. In the trade sector, since the introduction of non-working Sunday in November 2024, there are 2,000 fewer workers, but according to Kojović, that is an "achievement they will leave behind." That's right, Kojović.

The biggest compliments were, expectedly, directed at the future president of Our Party, Sabina Ćudić, for whom he emphasized that she enters the U.S. Congress "like she's entering her own home."

"Here, I'll tell you this. People from America asked me if she has American citizenship and if she would eventually become active on the U.S. political scene," said Kojović.

And while Kojović has American citizenship, he apparently was not fortunate enough to be asked by Americans to engage in politics. To our regret.
