Dejan Kerleta, Director of BHR1, warned Enisa Hajdarević Šojko, an editor at BHR1, via email that he had received a large number of complaints from citizens of BiH who, he claims, objected to the broadcast of songs from the war period in BiH on the radio program 'Heroes of Sarajevo'.
In fact, Kerleta took issue with the work of Nazif Gljiva. For this reason, Hajdarević Šojko was dismissed.
The series of the show 'Narodna na BHR1' discussed Nazif Gljiva's 45-year career. The third part of the show was supposed to be broadcast today, July 4th, at 5 PM, but even Nazif Gljiva doesn't know if it will be aired.
"I would say that these are obviously bad people who are usurping public space. And all of this is tolerated by someone. The song also speaks of love, love for the homeland. It does not speak of or call for violence, but rather strengthens the patriotic spirit. We are clearly war orphans in our own country, Bosnia and Herzegovina. That's us! I am sad. It has been like this for years," Gljiva told Patria.
At this moment, he also does not know if the third part of the show will be aired today.
"Love songs were played before. Nothing was controversial, until that song, which someone deemed controversial," Gljiva pointed out.
Below is the text of the song that the management of BH Radio deemed controversial:
Where are you now, friends
While Bosnia is dying,
While Bosnia is dying
Your voice is not heard!
While Bosnia is dying
Your voice is not heard!
What is that sound over there
Who is singing a song over there
Those are heroes coming, mother
Defenders of Sarajevo!
What is that sound over there
Who is singing a song over there
Those are heroes coming, mother
Defenders of Sarajevo!
Summer is coming, Bosnia is alive
Lilies are blooming, Lilies are blooming
Heroes are singing! Lilies are blooming
Heroes are singing!
My enemy is anyone
Who does not love Bosnia,
Who does not love Bosnia
Does not fight for her!
Who does not love Bosnia
Does not fight for her!
What is that sound over there
Who is singing a song over there
Those are heroes coming, mother, Defenders of Sarajevo!
What is that sound over there, Who is singing a song over there
Those are heroes coming, mother, Defenders of Sarajevo!
It is evident that not a single word calls for violence or hatred towards others, but the song exclusively awakens the desire for defense and love, because the heroes of Sarajevo in this song do not kill, but sing and defend their city.
It is indicative that the song also calls for awakening, for raising a voice against injustice. Given that today's judicial authorities are prosecuting individuals who loudly and publicly call for resistance to new machinations against BiH, it is clear why the management of BH Radio has sanctioned editor Hajdarević Šojko.
They are accomplices of those who want to extinguish every form of patriotism and desire for the establishment of a democratic state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, while at the same time members of the Army of RBiH and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RBiH are filling the courtrooms, being tried for defending themselves.
Are we in a phase where all resistance is rendered meaningless, to the extent that we are even forbidden to sing, and we are all silent! At the same time, preparations for separation are proceeding peacefully and without reaction from the BiH Prosecutor's Office! Every day we learn the devastating fact that the institutions of BiH are under 'occupation' by those who are leading the state of BiH towards division!
If Director Kerleta believes it is possible to present Gljiva's 45-year career while erasing his actions during the aggression, then it is clear what they think about the state of BiH, which heroically survived precisely thanks to the celebrated heroes who defended their country. Revisionism is all around us, in every segment of society, and the silence that hurts the ears is the most horrifying!
