Declaration on the Principles of Action of the Guardians of Bosnia in the Protection and Building of the Homeland of Bosnia and Herzegovina

(Patri) - On the occasion of November 25 - Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Association Guardians of Bosnia publishes the Declaration on the Principles of Action of the Guardians of Bosnia in the Protection and Building of the Homeland of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The first session of the State Anti-Fascist Council for the National Liberation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ZAVNOBiH) in Mrkonjić Grad restored the statehood of our homeland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, 81 years ago.

The statehood of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been defended every minute, hour, and day since that session of ZAVNOBiH. It is still defended today, therefore the survival of our homeland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as a modern, democratic European state requires the contribution of each of us.

Attacks on our state are equally strong as they were during the time of ZAVNOBiH, during the dual aggression in the period 1992-1995, and after it. And as long as hegemonic aspirations exist in the neighborhood of Bosnia and Herzegovina, we citizens must be the guardians of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Therefore, this Declaration is a call to every citizen, regardless of gender, religion, race, ethnic or any other affiliation, to contribute in everyday life in order to preserve the state. And the state must be guarded, built, and upgraded in order to survive as a comfortable home for all its citizens.

In the hope that the statehood and destiny of our homeland will never again be called into question, we wish you a Happy Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina and that by accepting the Declaration, we all together become that stećak that guards the statehood, sovereignty, territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina and build its brighter future.
