When asked who still fears Schmidt, the answer is quite simple - only Bosniaks still fear High Representative Christian Schmidt.
Because Croats, in Zagreb and Mostar, "finished" Schmidt even before he set foot on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and after that they got an instance that, instead of implementing Dayton, implements apartheid, turning minority Croatian politics into leaders of apartheid institutions. At the same time, Schmidt has nullified Bosniaks as constituent and as citizens, so even though they are the most numerous in the country, they are no longer consulted even on the route of some small path.
In the smaller entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik first announced the arrest and persecution of the High Representative, and then changed it to an unwelcome reception. Schmidt, in an attempt to prove something, announced a meeting with Vice-President Ćamil Duraković (Bosniak), but also with the opposition in RS, which very quickly responded that they would not attend. And then Schmidt once again nullified Bosniaks, cancelling the meeting with Duraković, although there are many reasons for discussion, primarily regarding the continuous frequency of attacks on returnees in RS.
Therefore, Schmidt cannot enter the President's Palace of RS, because he is banned from entering. And I have already written once that Milorad Dodik, with the bans imposed on the High Representative, has undermined Dayton from the foundation, and when we know about the nullification of the decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH, it is clear that the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina functions in some paranormal system in which only Bosniaks still fear and, in that fear, respect the opinion of the international community.
Both Serbian and Croatian politics have clearly understood that the best path for their goals is to reject everything that the international community offers that is not in line with their goals. HDZ BiH, as the leader of Croatian politics, has rejected every solution that did not go in the direction of legitimate representation and a virtual/de facto third entity. They have blocked everything, wasting the time of both domestic and international political circles.
Dodik has simultaneously paralyzed the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, building strong relations with Belgrade and the Kremlin and persisting in the policy of separatism.
All of this has smoothly passed by the OHR and both former and current High Representatives. The only difference is that former High Representatives did not confine one ethnic group to a ghetto, unlike Schmidt, who, through his actions, nullified the political will of Bosniaks and their institutional representation.
Therefore, it seems somewhat paranormal that Bosniaks are the ones protecting Schmidt from Milorad Dodik's policies. The Schmidt who is not only not the High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina, but not even for the entire Federation. Schmidt's mission is, increasingly obviously, exclusively tied to disciplining and ghettoizing Bosniaks.
And all of this is solely a consequence of the fact that Bosniaks are still the only ones in this country who fear Schmidt. The cause of this is the unwillingness of the political leadership and intellectual thought of Bosniaks to give up comfort and engage in a struggle with both anti-state elements and Schmidt, who is solely focused on Bosniaks/Muslims.
And as long as this is the case, Bosniaks will be a ghettoized ethnos whose rights will be periodically and as needed nullified by the High Representative, whom they unhesitatingly defend from the separatist Milorad Dodik.
And all for the sake of preserving Dayton's road to hell, which Bosniaks, due to fear, do not see or understand.
