Head of diplomacy Elmedin Konaković boasts about collecting international support, in the same way that BiH Presidency member Denis Bećirović brought us guarantees from expensive world destinations. Of course, support and guarantees should convince us that we are safe and that we are just about to become a prosperous EU member, and we are also on the verge of NATO membership.
Lies, liar, let us rejoice, if there is anyone left who still believes these deceptions. Besides collecting support and guarantees, this duo has largely defined our poor foreign policy over the past three years, as witty citizens of our country have nicknamed them 'visit counters'.
The facts speak volumes about how much support and guarantees they have brought us, and they say that what Serbia and Croatia agree on through Banja Luka and Mostar, and what the United States wants, is happening in BiH.
If our head of diplomacy were smart and could see beyond his nose, he would seriously consider the South Interconnection project. Just as a reminder, the support collector forgot that former US Secretary of State Antony Blinken sent him a letter of warning asking him to solve the problem known as Dragan Čović. Not only did he not solve it, Konaković did not even attempt to solve it, because he knows that would bring him an exit ticket from power at the state and entity levels.
The 'Trojka' project, whose leaders are Konaković and Bećirović, was asked to resolve this through the Parliament of the Federation of BiH, but the 'Trojka' prime minister Nermin Nikšić played the old Bosnian game of 'I want to - I don't want to', proposing the Law on SI, and then withdrawing it under pressure.
And then the father of 'Trojka', Michael Murphy, appeared and, dictated by Washington, lined up everyone in the FBiH Parliament, except for the HDZ, convincing them with a diplomatic mallet that it was in the interest of Bosnia and Herzegovina and that no one should dare to think otherwise!
So much for Konaković's diplomacy and Bećirović's statesmanship, who obviously wandered unnecessarily through the streets of Washington waiting for an opportunity to take a picture with someone and delight the entire population with support and guarantees.
And so, here is a riddle for the collectors of support and guarantees - If the South Interconnection is in the interest of BiH, why did it not go to the state level, but only covers the Federation, while the entity of RS remains on Russian gas?
Furthermore, today Konaković again served us a spin about the politically deceased Dodik, which is a serious joke by the 'Trojka' members from all vertical and horizontal levels. Because, while the Sarajevo collector of support was saying that 'BiH is present in all important destinations', actually boasting about being there, Dodik waves to him from Tel Aviv, where he went either with Kabirija (Čović's brother in interest) or through Kabirija's connections.
Konaković also says that Dodik had to give up everything he tried, i.e., withdraw all secessionist laws, in order for his sanctions to be lifted. Konaković forgets that he was the first to announce an attack on the judiciary if Dodik was acquitted, out of fear of the agreement between the Americans and Dodik.
He neither learned what the essence of the agreement was through his diplomatic channels nor did he grasp what kind of diplomatic game it was, in which Dodik left him two centuries behind.
And how stuck in illusion Konaković is is shown by his following words, spoken today at a conference, and to avoid any doubt about accuracy, taken from regime portals: 'Čović has little time left to decide whether he is for SNSD or for the European path'. In the same paragraph, he says: 'European laws are blocked by the Russian submarine SNSD and HDZ, which stands firmly embraced with SNSD'.
After these words, little can be added to clarify the confusion of the NiP leader and head of diplomacy. Because, if three years spent with Čović were not enough for him to realize that Čović is interested in the European path as much as Trump is interested in protecting animals in Madagascar, then nothing will ever be clear to him.
How lost Konaković is is also shown by the fact that he devised a cure because he allegedly 'established a diagnosis'. And because of his diagnoses, excavators, rubber bands, and who knows what other nonsense from the 'Trojka' opus, the United States had to struggle hard to prevent a never-before-so-serious destabilization of our country in 2025.
And America did not calm Dodik down because of the diplomacy of Bećirović and Konaković, because that cannot even colloquially be called diplomacy, but because the destabilization of Bosnia and Herzegovina would cause a flame that would spread throughout the Balkans, and that would be an ace up Russia's sleeve.
There is no doubt that this rather tragic, but largely comical story of ours with a coerced member of the Presidency and an unprofiled head of diplomacy could have served as a perfect scenario for Danis Tanović.
'An Episode in the Life of an Iron Collector' was an excellent and award-winning film. A new one could be called 'The Mandate of the Collector of Support and Guarantees'. With all that is known and what will be known, it would be an excellent combination of drama, comedy, and even a thriller, considering the unfinished story about the super-cartel and the possible connections of the head of diplomacy.
And there is no need to rack your brains for the main roles, we have them! We have been paying them for their entire mandate in the positions of BiH Presidency member and head of diplomacy, and it is up to you to work on the charisma of one and the seriousness of the other.
Think about it, Danis, so that at least somewhere all that we have thrown away on these two actors is worth it!
