Numerous lies in his daily appearances are spun and disseminated by the biggest destabilizer of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Balkans. How could he not, when he is one of the most exposed media personalities in the region.
In that elite, he is mostly shoulder to shoulder with those who have a very similar agenda towards Bosnia and Herzegovina – to tear it apart as soon as possible – Aleksandar Vučić, Zoran Milanović, Andrej Plenković...
Milorad Dodik has managed for years to keep the attention of the entire public, primarily due to his dangerous secessionist plans which, if he tried to implement them, everyone is aware, would cause turbulence in all the countries of the region.
"Piti are the people who have no ambitions," Dodik will say in an interview for the portal Banjaluka.net, answering the question of whether the time has come to realize his announcement of an independent Republika Srpska. And Dodik was not born in Serbia, nor in Republika Srpska, but in Banja Luka in 1959, then (and now) the second largest city in the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Piti is he who hates the country in which he was born. It is truly very difficult anywhere in the world to find an example even remotely similar to the political representatives of Bosnian Serbs, who speak with such disgust about Bosnia and Herzegovina on every occasion, even though it is their only homeland, whether they admit it or not.
The doors are wide open to all those who do not feel good in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Yesterday they should have gone where they think they will be better off. But, everyone is aware that a foreign land is still a foreign land. And Dodik would be a stranger in Belgrade. Imagine if someone on Knez Mihailova shouted at him – where are you from, Bosnian? Or – where are you, thief, as that kid dared to do from a live video that the administrators of the SNSD Twitter profile quickly deleted. "The first among Bosnian Serbs" would probably sink into the ground.
One of the lies that Dodik told in the mentioned interview was that no one believes in Bosnia and Herzegovina anymore "except these few mercenaries like the American ambassador, that so-called fake Schmidt and others".
That Dodik's lie is brutal because, firstly, neither American ambassadors nor that "fake" Schmidt and Schmidts care about Bosnia and Herzegovina at all. If they did, the Peace Implementation Council (PIC) and the Office of the High Representative (OHR) would have long ago removed Dodik and all followers of his secessionist policy, which has been holding our country back for years and trying to drag it back into the abyss, from the political scene.
And secondly, unfortunately for Milorad Dodik, there are millions who still believe, and will never stop believing in their only homeland, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Besides those who currently inhabit it, there is almost an equal (and perhaps larger) number in the diaspora, who, as early as tomorrow, would be ready to return to their homeland and take up arms to defend it again from some new Karadžićs and Mladićs. And then the only border we could talk about in all of Bosnia and Herzegovina would be the one that would encompass its territory of 51,129 square kilometers.
Dodik is well aware of this, so it is probably one of the main reasons why he still does not take the step that would mean not only his political but also the end of the entity for which he fights so hard.
The Troika will, as expected, remain silent on these theses of Dodik as well, because they have accustomed us to that.
After all, they agreed during the formation of the state coalition not to touch upon issues on which they do not have a consensus. And they never wanted to admit that in a coalition with Dodik's SNSD and Čović's HDZ, they do not have a consensus on the most important issue – the survival of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Nermin Nikšić, Elmedin Konaković, nor the most insignificant among them, Edin Forto, would by no means offend their political leader, because they are very aware that this would mean the end of their existence in comfortable ministerial and director positions for them and their cadres.
Proof of this is the recent vote in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament on the dismissal of Staša Košarac, who has been surviving in the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the second consecutive term thanks to the favor of his political boss. In order not to offend the leader of the state-level coalition, the Troika members, or rather their representatives in the State Parliament, voted against Košarac's dismissal.
Bosnia and Herzegovina has existed for a thousand years. It has survived the Roman, Ottoman, and Austro-Hungarian empires, and the joint criminal enterprises of Croatia and Serbia. It will survive Dodik too!
Because, Bosnia and Herzegovina is the house of a Bosnian and Herzegovinian man who put his mother's pearls in its foundations, and that house does not collapse easily!
