(Patria) - The session of the Management Board of the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) of BiH, held in the office of the BiH Minister of Finance Srđan Amidžić, did not end well. Namely, Toni Kraljević, the Minister of Finance of the Federation of BiH, left the session angrily at the end, Patria has confirmed from sources close to the ITA.
Namely, the key item on today's agenda was the Proposal of the Decision on the distribution of road toll revenues for the construction of highways and reconstruction of roads (around 240 million KM), which was removed from the agenda due to a lack of consensus.
Regarding the Proposal of the Decision on determining temporary coefficients for the distribution of revenues from the Single Account for the period October – December 2023, there was also a 'clash', as RS continues to insist on high coefficients, to which Kraljević reacted heatedly, was outvoted, and left the session.
Translated, this means there is no decision, and Republika Srpska will currently receive funds at a record percentage of 34.6 percent this quarter, and in the first quarter of 2024, which was the decision from July.
Kraljević opposed this decision because there was an agreement to always vote for decisions, and then work on settlements later. However, it is evident that Republika Srpska is 'burning' when it comes to filling budget holes and is using all methods to get money.
