President of the Federation of BiH Lidija Bradara (HDZ) received four times more funds in the rebalance of the Budget of the Federation of BiH compared to Vice Presidents Igor Stojanović (SDP) and Refik Lendo (SDA).
Namely, her expenses increased by more than 200 thousand KM, while Stojanović received 90,000 KM and Lendo 50,000 KM. The imbalance in this distribution has been a topic for a long time, dating back to the time of Marinko Čavara, who, we remind you, had as many as 11 advisors.
The violation of the Law on Budgets in the Federation of BiH is reflected in the fact that people were hired outside the planned allocations in the budget.
Thus, Bradara hired as many as four people who were not planned in the Budget for 2023, while Lendo and Stojanović hired two people each. In total, this amounts to eight new hires that will cost the citizens of the Federation a total of an additional 390,000 KM, with the largest portion of these funds going to the HDZ's Bradara.
The budget rebalance, recently adopted by the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH, approved additional funds for this amount, thus the representatives tacitly approved this violation of the law by increasing their budgets through special items, but did not approve new hires.
It is evident that the Budget for 2023 provided funds for 37 employees, while the Budget Execution for the period from January to June 2023 states that payments were made to 45 people, meaning eight new hires.
It appears that Bradara has continued the old practice of suspicious hirings from the time she served as Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
We remind you that in 2017, the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office opened a case due to the hiring of eight advisors by Bradara. Five of them did not have five years of work experience, as stipulated by federal regulations, but to this day there is no final prosecutorial decision, or at least it has not been publicly announced.
NES MP in the House of Representatives of the PFBiH, Sandi Salkić, told Patria that this case is further proof of the stepmotherly attitude of the imposed FBiH Government towards Krajina, from which he comes, and whose funds were significantly reduced in the budget rebalance despite the budget being increased by 211 million KM.
Salkić: Let the citizens of the Federation see what is being done
“It is important for the citizens of the Federation, especially Krajina, to understand the way the Government of Nermin Nikšić operates. The President of the Federation has hired suspiciously before, and it seems she has continued at that pace. It is incomprehensible that the Parliament of the FBiH tacitly supports criminal acts,” said Salkić.
Of course, such stories from the rebalance remained in the shadow of the most important one, which the Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina seems to have covered up, because with the rebalance of the FBiH Budget for 2023, it allocated an additional 10 million KM to the Solidarity Fund and passed a conclusion calling on cantonal governments and cantonal health insurance funds, which have reported a surplus, to join the efforts of the FBiH Government in solving the problem of treatment for the most seriously ill patients in the FBiH and to provide part of the funds needed for their treatment by the end of the year.
We remind you that 70 million KM is necessary to resolve this crucial issue.
However, the government, composed of the parties of the Trojka and HDZ BiH, most emphasized this story, and accused representatives who did not want to support the rebalance of negligence and lack of care for the most seriously ill patients.
