(Patria) - For new partners to enter the government, the coalition agreement would have to be changed, which would also prolong the entire process. It is speculated within the ruling coalition that this could be resolved by an agreement between the Europe Now Movement and the Bosniak Party, whereby the new partner could receive government positions from the PES quota.
Montenegrin media are increasingly speculating that cadres from the Bosniak Party will also be included in the reconstructed government of this country.
According to Vijesti.me, this has not yet been agreed upon. But discussions are underway.
For now, only the party's leader Ervin Ibrahimović and Prime Minister Milojko Spajić are talking, a source from the top of the Bosniak Party told Vijesti this morning.
"We have not agreed. We are discussing the possible participation of the Bosniak Party in the 44th Government," said the interlocutor, answering the question whether it is true that the Bosniak Party's entry into the Government has been agreed, as reported by some media.
When asked if it is possible for everything to be finalized by Tuesday, as speculated in the ruling and opposition parties, the interlocutor said: "Believe me, I don't know".
"For now, we are talking only with the Prime Minister," said the source from the Bosniak Party to Vijesti.
According to the findings of this media outlet from multiple sources, the government reconstruction has been definitively agreed upon, but it is still not entirely certain whether it will happen in July or somewhat later.
A meeting of the leaders of the majority parties, where this was discussed, was held about ten days ago. Three sources from the ruling coalition told Vijesti that they understood from conversations with coalition partners that it could happen as early as Tuesday. Opposition MPs also mentioned this at the session of the Parliament the day before yesterday.
However, a source from the top of the Europe Now Movement (PES) said three days ago that a decision on the exact date has not yet been made and that it is not entirely certain that the reconstruction will happen in July.
The reconstruction of the Government, with the entry of constituents of the former Democratic Front (DF) into it - the New Serbian Democracy (NSD) and the Democratic People's Party (DNP), parties of pronounced Serbian and Russian orientation - is foreseen by the coalition agreement signed during the formation of the new parliamentary majority and the new Government at the end of October last year. It is foreseen that the reconstruction will happen no later than the adoption of the budget for 2025, which means by the end of this year.
The Democratic People's Party of Milan Knežević previously opposed the Bosniak Party's entry into the Government. The Democrats demanded, as a condition for supporting the Bosniak Party's entry into the Government, that they break their coalition with the Democratic Party of Socialists in Bijelo Polje and form a government in that municipality with the majority from the state level.
A source from the Democrats said that "this condition still stands".
The interlocutor from the Bosniak Party did not wish to answer the question of whether they will do so.
For new partners to enter the government, the coalition agreement would have to be changed, which would also prolong the entire process. It is speculated within the ruling coalition that this could be resolved by an agreement between the Europe Now Movement and the Bosniak Party, whereby the new partner could receive government positions from the PES quota.
The Prime Minister, who is expected to propose and defend the government reconstruction in parliament, is traveling to Paris on Wednesday (July 24) for the opening of the Olympic Games and will return on July 29, according to the platform adopted by the Government three days ago.
Spajić's Government currently has 19 ministries and 23 members. After the reconstruction, according to the coalition agreement, the NSD should be allocated the Ministry of Education and the portfolios of spatial planning and tourism, and the DNP should receive the position of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport. The ZBCG coalition currently supports the Government without participating in it.
If the reconstruction does not happen in July, an extraordinary session of the Parliament would have to be scheduled for August and September.
