HDZ's bi-entity disorder proves Bosniak politics must reject Schmidt's decisions that do not apply to the whole of BiH

The Vice-President of the RS entity, Davor Pranjić, completely got caught in the net of Federal Television last night, perhaps unconsciously revealing the duality of the political phenomenon he belongs to - the Croatian Democratic Union of BiH.

Pranjić would like to have one attitude towards the international community and High Representative Christian Schmidt on 49 percent of BiH's territory, and a different attitude on the other 51 percent. Thus, the HDZ's Vice-President of the RS, in the clutches of Milorad Dodik, says: “We respect the international community, but we also want it to be our constructive partner, not a factor of unrest and political bickering.”

So, Pranjić believes that the international community in Bosnia and Herzegovina is a factor of unrest and political bickering. The vast majority in this country would agree with this stance, especially Bosniaks, for whom this international community, through Schmidt's Bonn powers, has annulled the constitutional rights to have a say as a constituent people of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the election of authorities.

However, this suits Pranjić, his party, and leader Čović, because such actions by the international community have enabled the HDZ to have absolute control over processes in the Federation of BiH. And that is probably the part of Pranjić's statement where he considers the international community a constructive partner.

What Pranjić does not like and where he sees this international community as a factor of unrest is the conflict with Milorad Dodik, who has embarked on open secession. Because Pranjić views this constructively, receiving a salary at the UKC RS, but also as the Vice-President of the RS from the Croatian people.

The fact that Croats in the RS are only a sample is not Pranjić's problem, nor is it Čović's. In fact, the policy of Čović and those before Pranjić has led to Croats in the RS being a statistical error and a mechanism for enriching cadres that the HDZ did not manage to place in the Federation of BiH.

Schmidt is excellent when he oppresses Bosniaks, but Pranjić believes that the question is not “whether he recognizes Schmidt or not,” but that “the Russian veto is a fact.”

Good God, the HDZ is truly divided! The leader of that HDZ, Dragan Čović, and his political Godfather, Andrej Plenković, have invested a lot of effort to make Schmidt their lever for introducing a complete apartheid mechanism into the political system of the Federation of BiH, which will allow the HDZ to rule and decide forever.

And they did not talk about the facts that the Russians had vetoed, that Schmidt might be without legality. On the contrary, the HDZ, Dragan Čović, and official Zagreb defended Herr Schmidt from the violent hordes of Sarajevo Muslims who attacked the OHR because they do not like apartheid.

Today, the HDZ's Vice-President of the RS tells us that there have been enough impositions, but in the RS.

“25 years after peace and stability, we still have impositions. We are mature enough; a political agreement must be between people who are democratically elected, not that anything is imposed on us,” says Pranjić, even though in the same show just moments earlier he said: “I think that at this moment the international community is too involved in unimportant matters. We ask the question - why has the issue of the Croatian member of the Presidency not been resolved for the fourth term?”

The HDZ's bi-entity disorder is obviously an incurable disease, so they would like Schmidt to impose a decision that the HDZ must have a member of the BiH Presidency, but not to impose anything in the RS, because leaders should negotiate.

Therefore, it is up to the political representatives of the Bosniaks to no longer accept decisions of High Representative Christian Schmidt that will apply only to the FBiH and Bosniaks, without the same applying to the other entity and the other two peoples. Otherwise, between the HDZ's bi-entity disorder and Dodik's separatist campaign, Bosniaks will not have much room to fight for survival as a political people.
