(Patria) - The application of Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS) can no longer be found on the App Store, the online application store of the American company Apple, the creator of the iPhone.
NIS applications are no longer offered on the App Store at all, while NIS applications are still available on the Play Store for Android phones.
The United States imposed sanctions on NIS on January 10, as part of a package of sanctions against Gazprom Neft, the majority owner of NIS.
The goal of the sanctions, as stated by the Americans, is to reduce Russia's revenues used to finance the war in Ukraine.
