Just as the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nermin Nikšić explained to the media on Thursday evening that they are hypocritical and that they spread news without verification, such as the one that "federal budget beneficiaries" will receive the aid that the FBiH Government enabled through a decree, because they will not receive 2,520 KM but "only a one-time 1,260 KM", a new problem arose for the imposed prime minister.
Thus, Nikšić lectured the media, opponents, non-budget beneficiaries, pardon non-workers, because budget beneficiaries, according to him, are workers who earn their salary, well, everyone in turn, emphasizing that the prime minister, that is, he himself, ministers, and parliamentarians are excluded from this aid. In his address, he claims that there is no "second installment" because the decision of December 18 prescribes a one-time aid of 1,260 KM. Although the Decree was intended to "increase the minimum wage," which is a nonsense from Nikšić and Minister Vojin Mijatović, because the Decree is not binding on any employer at all.
They say that the morning is wiser than the night, so the head of the Independent Union of Civil Servants and Employees in the FBiH, Samir Kurtović, fired off on Friday morning that they will receive the rest of the money in the coming year. He confirmed this to several media outlets. So that the prime minister would not scold us again, this morning we asked the Public Relations Office of the FBiH Government for clarification, i.e., verification of this information and whether there will be a new decision when the Budget for 2024 is adopted. No one from the Office responded to us by the end of working hours. Their working hours, because journalists always work.
However, unionist Samir Kurtović was tasked with explaining to the same media outlets, to which he had told one story this morning, that he had not understood correctly and that the payment of a second installment had not been agreed upon with the Government, and that they are grateful for any form of assistance.
Thus, Nikšić did not need to deny the unionist as he did the night before, accusing the media of making things up. So, the media make things up, and unionists only misunderstand. Moreover, if the Government adopted the decision on December 18, why did they not inform the public about it themselves and avoid all speculation.
“This is a decision published in the Official Gazette of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Based on this decision, all employees of administrative bodies and other organizations who receive salaries from the FBiH Budget will receive a one-time aid in the amount of 1,260.00 KM. So, it is completely clear that a one-time aid and the amount of aid are stated in accordance with the Government Decree,” the prime minister noted.
For the information of the imposed prime minister, the media did not invent the second tranche; rather, his employees were already rejoicing last week about a salary increase of 200 KM from January to June. However, from Friday to Monday, a lot changes, so the Government made a decision on one-time aid.
But, a new budget brings new fortune. Or something like that. We shall hear...
