Choose your lying leaders, live your life of lies

In the Balkans, the lie is the material of highest durability. You can make anything out of it. In the Balkans, one can make a skyrocketing political career out of lies. You can pump up your bank accounts, build villas in cities and down by the sea. Yet, in order to create all of that based on lies, first you have to find fools you can lie to and who will make you politically important.

As someone conscientious once said: All we need is the brains, they promised us everything else.

Izetbegovic, Radoncic, Covic, Dodik, they promised you jobs, a great building site of the country, EU integration, a new, better and a grand future.

It's a short-term promise, and a long-term lie.

Dodik's referendum is a genuine example. You go and vote, and I will in a few days at my assembly vote for something that will turn the referendum into a common and big lie. And no one will feel tricked.

You can become a winner in a non-sport game only if you skillfully use lie, if you promise towers and cities, which you otherwise build for yourself, for your partners in power and your offspring that get educated abroad and that you keep away from the poor by light-years. Everyone in this country can see it with their own eyes. Corruption is booming. There are no secrets in whimsical lives of our leaders, yet their vassals do not cease trusting them, as they talk about the hatred that is all around. The hatred that can calm even the hungriest of stomachs.

As the fear is the only weapon stronger than the lies in this land, then they lie so as to instigate fear and anxiety in those who they lie. They lie to them because they already successfully lied to them that their enemy are those of different name, poor as they are. They teach them how to hate and lead by lies, fear and hatred.  

There is a big public lie out there. What is more, the public believes in that public lie, endlessly. Nazism was not invented by Hitler, it is a serious problem of human nature.

Our politicians lie to us so much that their lie has become some sort of mockery of common sense. That is such an obvious and cheap lie that is has become some sort of human tragicomedy.

If you have nothing to offer to people, if poverty is guaranteed for them, if you cannot offer them normal life, you can always offer them your lies and hatred. You can keep promising as much as you like.

A lie is a kind of response to the hard and cruel life their vassals live.

It is only in this country that the politicians and their appointed bosses have got more money and wealth than the most successful businessmen. That's because they helped employ many more people than any factory owner. It is only in this country that the politicians are richer than bankers. Their villas are finer than those of bank money-lenders. Their accounts are bigger. They will rip you off with the interest.

They are your shepherds, your party, entity and state leader, they will take to a better future.

Public lie is a kind of mass hypnosis. The more feeble and brutal – the more acceptable. If you would try and lie an individual, you would induce anger and rage, a fierce reaction by each of the tricked persons. However, the public lie served before the masses in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is handled quite well. There's no pride in the masses, it's not needed. In the mass, you tend to forget that you may be tricked. That's because the lie of our leaders has become a kind of national interest. Their lie is understood as a higher goal we all have to slave in the name of the nation and a better tomorrow.
