Radoncic on FTV: Revision, political murders, fate of coalition with SDA

SBB president and the House of Peoples of BH Parliament delegate, Fahrudin Radoncic, stated that Bosnia and Herzegovina had had an absolute right to submit a request for revision of the lawsuit against Serbia with the International Court of Justice, and that he did not see anything wrong in it as it relates to 'seeking justice'.

As a guest in FTV's evening show 'Posteno' on Monday, he said that it was expected that the request for revision would stir turbulence in the Republika Srpska, which would be eventually overcome.

- The request for revision of the verdict is not an attack on Serbia as a state, Radoncic underlined.

He also spoke about work of the BiH Court and Prosecutor's office, illegitimate marking of 9 January, relations in the coalition with SDA, the court trial against him...

- I do not wish to comment on the Prosecutor's office decisions, the order of hearing witnesses etc. But I do not think it is good that only Serb personnel are brought to the Prosecutor's office to make statements about the circumstances (of the marking 9 January). Had the Defense Minister, Marina Pendes or the deputy defense minister, Jusic, been invited, the impression of the Serbs about national basis of the hearing would have been avoided, Radoncic said.

Radoncic also spoke about the protests in FBiH, the future of the coalition at the state level, about the 'Muslim state project' in BiH, political murders, appearing as a witness in Kosovo, and the possibility for his candidacy as the Bosniak Presidency member in 2018...

- As security minister, I insisted on investigating murders of Jozo Leutar, then deputy minister of internal affairs and Nedzad Ugljen, deputy Intelligence director... How was it possible to kill two men who had had the state police protection by two or three men at the time... and at the time of murder, to pull them from their workplace? It could be done only by those who have them work to do, Radoncic said and added:

- Somebody is holding back those investigations.

He called upon SIPA and OSA to continue their work on these cases.

Speaking in general about relations in BiH after submission of the request for revision, Radoncic opined that BiH is a very stable country, and that all that has been done recently will not affect its stability, however, 'it may cause some turbulence in the RS'. He also said that any Bosniak member of BiH Presidency would have done the same as Bakir Izetbegovic did in relation to the revision.

- We know there was a genocide. There's no Bosniak politician who would not have approached the situation the same way as Izetbegovic has done. My biggest complaint to Izetbegovic is that he very selfishly kept the revision to himself, Radoncic added.

He also said that BiH has to remain committed to the region and nurture good relations with its neighbors. As for the citizens, for their sakes the country has to combat corruption, the poverty, crime and massive departure of young people from the country.
