Komsic: Covic will not allow the implementation of electoral results unless HDZ wins

President of Democratic Front, Zeljko Komsic, in Dnevnik D of the Federal TV, made comments about the assembly in Neum at which Croatian president, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic said that BiH had to make changes to the Electoral law as soon as possible:

- The assembly in Neum was a vampire ball on the daylight.

He added that the name of the assembly itself is rather offensive for other peoples in BiH – Bosniaks, Serbs and all others (the assembly in Neum was held under the name 'Croats of Bosnia and Herzegovina – bearers of European values. It was organized by Dragan Covic and his Office of Croat member of BiH Presidency on 16 March).

- Now I have a problem when I come home to explain to my wife that she is not a bearer of European values and I am. Because she is not a Croat. I also have a problem to explain to my child which half of her is the bearer of European values and which is not, Komsic said.

- Everything that they are doing down there in Neum is the part of a greater plan for crisis which will hit us in 2018 when Dragan Covic and HDZ will block the implementation of the electoral results, if they don't happen to like those results. I hope to be proved wrong, he added.

Asked if the current events in BiH are the ground for creating the third entity, Komsic said it is 'that exactly'.

- Unfortunately, our neighbors got entangled in it in the way that diplomatic practice mildly calls interfering with relations of a neighboring and friendly country, Komsic explained.

Croatia, as an EU member, should not allow itself to do that?

- Of course not. Imagine if we organized an assembly in Rijeka at which we discuss the situation in Istria... Just reverse the situation and you will know how they would react, Komsic told FTV.

He accused Covic of 'singing the same song as Milorad Dodik'. 'For personal gain', he added.

Speaking about Sarajevo Summit that took place on Thursday, Komsic said that the atmosphere seemed fine.

- The Summit did not yield anything concrete, but its mere taking place is a good thing, he concluded.
