Who killed Jozo Leutar: 18 years of open investigation

It has been 18 years since the death of Jozo Leutar, deputy Federal Minister of Interior whose murderers and those who ordered the assassination still have not been identified.   

Leutar was assassinated on 16 March 1999 around 7:45 a.m. in Alipasina Street in Sarajevo. Assassins set up a bomb in the engine of his car. Leutar was seriously injured and passed away on 28 March.

The case was also investigated by FBI agents but the murderers have never been found.

The only related court trial was finalized on 12 November 2002 with the acquittal for Ivan Andabak, Dominik Ilijasevic Como, Zoran Basic, Zeljko Cosic, Jadranko Bajkusa and Marijo Milicevic.
