(Patria) - Zoran Milanović is the President of Croatia for the next five years.
As reported by media in neighbouring Croatia, he won 77.86 percent of the vote.
His challenger, Dragan Primorac, backed by the HDZ and its followers, received support from only 22.14 percent of voters, according to exit polls.
Milanović won the lacklustre race in the second round, where he was the favourite.
The State Election Commission of Croatia will announce the first preliminary results around 20:30.
Media are set to announce their first preliminary results at 19:30.
