(Patria) - The body of 42-year-old Đurđica Alidini, who went missing on October 21 in Zagreb's Gornji Vrapče, has been found. She was killed by her 41-year-old husband Senad, who then committed suicide.
After the disappearance was reported, police spoke with family members. During yesterday, officers arrived at the door of the apartment where the missing woman lived with her family. The body of the husband, who killed himself with a knife, was found in the apartment, reports Jutarnji list.
During a search of the apartment, police found a note with clues, among which a village in the area of Strmec Odranski was mentioned. Police patrols with search dogs headed to that location. They found the body of the 42-year-old woman in the bushes, next to a forest path. It was covered with leaves.
According to unofficial information from Jutarnji list, it is assumed that the unfortunate woman was strangled and then transported in a Peugeot to the location where she was found. In addition to the apartment, police also conducted an investigation in the vehicle parked in front of the building, in the trunk of which there was a large plastic sheet.
Both bodies of the spouses were transported to the Institute of Forensic Medicine and Criminology to determine the exact cause of death through an autopsy.
