(Patria) - An earthquake of magnitude 4.6 on the Richter scale, with an epicenter near the Albanian city of Elbasan, was felt last night in Montenegro as well.
The Seismology Sector of the Institute for Hydrometeorology and Seismology of Montenegro registered a moderate earthquake 17 minutes after midnight, with an epicenter 31 kilometers southwest of Elbasan.
The Institute announced that the magnitude of this earthquake at the focus was 4.6 units on the Richter scale, and that the hypocenter was located at a depth of 10 kilometers.
This earthquake could have caused only minor material damage in the epicentral area.
