(Patria) - An earthquake of magnitude 4.2 on the Richter scale hit the vicinity of Sjenica today at 14:43, announced the Republican Seismological Institute of Serbia.
The ground tremor was registered in the Golija region, 20 kilometers from Sjenica.
The theoretical intensity at the epicenter was estimated at V-VI degrees on the Mercalli scale.
Earthquakes of this intensity can cause minor damage to buildings in the epicentral area.
