(Patria) - Zagreb police announced that the fire, in which a man died in a house in the Maksimir settlement on Tuesday evening, was most likely caused by a cigarette butt.
Police say that the investigation determined that the fire broke out due to an open flame from a cigarette butt, after which it spread throughout the family house in Zeleni kut Street.
The day before, police announced that a man died in the fire, which broke out on Tuesday around 11 PM, while another person received medical assistance at KBC Zagreb due to smoke inhalation.
