(Patria) - Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin stated for RIA Novosti that the European Union has decided to impose sanctions on him, banning him from entering the Union's countries.
- There was no debate about the truth I presented. They simply had some comments about me personally, held a meeting at the highest level of their countries' foreign ministries, and decided to ban me from entering EU countries - Vulin complained.
According to him, Brussels responded in this way to his statements in the European Parliament.
- At the meeting of the EU Council's working group for the Eastern Partnership, the European Commission's Commissioner for External Affairs, essentially their Ministry of Foreign Affairs, proposed imposing sanctions due to "Russian destabilizing actions" - Vulin explained.
He also stated that he "really doesn't know what the result of all this is, that he wasn't informed, but that he knows what was proposed", reminding that he is already under US sanctions and is used to pressure, reports RT Balkan.
