Vučić felt unwell during his US tour, returned to Serbia after medical assistance

(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić interrupted his official visit to the United States of America after suddenly feeling unwell and sought medical help.

After the examination, it was decided that he would return to Serbia urgently. This decision was made in the early afternoon hours, and the public will be informed of the details in the coming days.

According to unofficial information reported by Blic, Vučić did not appear at the main events for which he traveled to America. At the time he felt unwell, he was accompanied by Finance Minister Siniša Mali and media advisor Suzana Vasiljević. The incident occurred after a meeting with Congresswoman Claudia Tenney, Rod Blagojevich, and Serbian entrepreneurs from America.

Vučić traveled to the USA on April 30, where he planned meetings with numerous Republican Party officials, including US President Donald Trump. Among the first meetings was one with former New York Mayor, renowned lawyer, and close Trump associate Rudy Giuliani.

Following the announcement of the visit's interruption, Richard Grenell, US President Donald Trump's envoy for special missions, also commented via the social network X. Grenell expressed concern and wished President Vučić a speedy recovery.

President Vučić's office announced that more information about his health condition and the reasons for the visit's interruption will be released in the coming days.
