Vučić in Brussels also on BiH: One incident and we are all in trouble

(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić had meetings with several European officials in Brussels today.

After the meetings, he stated that, among other things, they also discussed the situation in the region and that both sides emphasized the huge importance of the situation in BiH for the entire region.

- We agreed that preserving peace and stability is of crucial importance for all of us in the Balkans and agreed to work together on it.

We agreed to even take certain de-escalation actions from time to time and to fight for peace in the Balkans because it is in the interest, of course, of Serbia, but also of huge interest to the EU and Europe as a whole - said Vučić.

Vučić is expected to meet with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte later. Earlier today, he announced that he would discuss bilateral cooperation between Serbia and NATO, the behavior and attitude of KFOR and NATO in Kosovo, as well as the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- We now have countless topics with NATO. And I don't know if an hour and a half or two, which is how long the dinner lasts, will be enough for us to go through all the topics - emphasizes Vučić.

He adds that he does not know how clearly it is understood how complicated the situation in BiH is.

- We all want to avoid that, and one incident would be enough for all of us to be in trouble, and we are just trying to prevent that from happening.

And that is why it is important for me to talk to Rutte tonight, and I must admit that during his visit to BiH, he was very correct towards Serbia - concluded Vučić.
