Vučić: Serbia will not listen to London, Washington and Brussels, we will always stand by the Republika Srpska

(Patria) - President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić is in Donja Gradina today for the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the suffering of Serbs, Jews, and Roma and the breakout from the Jasenovac concentration camp.

In his address, he said they are resisting those who destined them for extinction.

"Who allowed the Balkan Auschwitz to operate until May 4? How is it possible that partisan brigades did not attack Jasenovac? Who allowed the operation of that monstrous camp to continue and prolong, so that almost no Serbs survived," Vučić said.

He said that today Serbia and the Republika Srpska are attacked from the field and from within.

"Our ever-improving economy is attacked, the fact that we dared to make our own decisions, to be independent, is attacked. We always ask whether we can forgive. No, they cannot forgive us for everything they did to us. They cannot forgive us for Jasenovac, for Jadovno, which are witnesses to what they did to our people.

They will never forgive us, just as those from the West will not forgive us for wanting to take Kosovo and Metohija from us through bombing and aggression. We will continue to be victims of their bad decisions, and that is why some small Serbs, some Serbs over there, must be held responsible for all of it. And when Serbia started to develop, economically strengthen, militarily strengthen, then they said you cannot be stronger than the region.

That is why Croatia, Albania, Kosovo are forming a military alliance, and they do it all in silence, pretending it never happened. And they will not forgive us for not letting someone else create our government, for a Serb wanting to have a say and not to have faxes sent to us from Brussels, Washington or London. It is the Serb who made the decision to live in freedom. You can take everything from a Serb, but we will never forgive those who want to destroy our state. And that is why when they forbid me from visiting Jasenovac, I am proud of it. I know I have done something good.

I am proud, Mr. President of the RS, that we are here together and that we are commemorating the suffering of Serbs.
At this same place next year, a magnificent memorial center will rise. I promise you that. First, go see the site of the greatest suffering of the Serbian people, then meet with us.

We do not hate anyone, but we love our people the most. They went after Serbia so that no one would be with the RS, with Kosovo, and now their revolutions are over, Serbia will always be there for the Republika Srpska, and you can always count on Serbia," Vučić said.
