(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced that he will travel to Azerbaijan tomorrow, and that in the coming days and weeks he will have intensive foreign policy activities, and that the crown of his career will be the upcoming visit to China where he will have very important talks with President Xi Jinping, and that he expects a lot from that meeting.

He said that Russian President Vladimir Putin will travel to China on May 19 and 20.

"A few days after that, we are going to China for talks with President Xi, so after the visits of President Trump and President Putin, we will have the exceptional honor of going on an official state visit to the People's Republic of China. We expect a lot from there," said Vučić.

He emphasized that one should not forget the extent of the changes that have occurred in the relations between Serbia and China.

"We have increased our exports to China by 330 times, mind you, not 330 percent, but 330 times. We had zero factories, today we have 37 Chinese factories in our country. We expect a lot, preparations are underway, the most serious ever. And for me, as a political veteran, an experienced man who has been almost everywhere, this is the crown of my career and probably the most significant visit, not for me personally, but for the citizens of Serbia, because we go to China, to Azerbaijan, and everywhere else we go, to do important things for the people of Serbia, not for ourselves, and I think people understand that very well," said Vučić.
