(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić spoke today on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, with EU envoy for the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, Miroslav Lajčák.
Vučić, as he himself stated, pointed out to Lajčák that "Pristina, through its moves, is calling into question everything achieved so far in the process of normalizing relations between Kosovo and Serbia." However, he did not specify which moves he was referring to.
On his Instagram profile, Vučić wrote that he had an "open conversation" with Lajčák about the situation in Kosovo and "the threats that the Serbian population faces daily, which endanger peace and stability in the region."
The EU spokesperson earlier announced that Lajčák would also meet with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti on the sidelines of the Forum, but that there would be no joint trilateral meeting.
The EU envoy met on January 15 in Davos with Kosovo's Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi, with whom he discussed the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, with a special emphasis on the need for urgent implementation of the Agreement on the path to normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia.
The Prime Minister of Kosovo and the President of Serbia separately met in Davos with US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs James O'Brien, with whom they also discussed Serbia-Kosovo relations.
