Vučić spoke with Serbs from northern Kosovo: Our goal must be peace

(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić spoke in Raška with Serbs from northern Kosovo.

Vučić announced that he received news that Dejan Pantić arrived home in Kosovska Mitrovica.

"One family is happier, our small tactical victory," said Vučić.

Albanians are making mistakes, they will drive everyone away, Vučić pointed out.

"They think they can defeat Serbs by force, they don't think about seeking compromise, I'm talking about their leadership. We have also made mistakes at times, and we have paid dearly for them, and they are doing it much worse now," said the president.

"Every day of peace we buy, every day of stability we buy, that is one more life, one more chance for the future, I see no alternative to that," the president conveyed.

President Vučić said that he understands our people will never be satisfied until they know they live in Serbia, but that our goal must be to preserve peace.

"If we manage to agree on anything tonight, I will greet more than 2,500 soldiers and police officers here, mostly special forces, who have been in a barracks for days and weeks. And to thank them for being ready. But I think our goal must be to preserve peace. I know that our people will never be satisfied until they know they live in Serbia, not in some other country. That is the essence, and I know that," said Vučić.

He pointed out that he listened to people's remarks last night and today, but when he asks what should be done, he gets different answers.

"You know, when you have responsibility, you have to think that way too," he emphasized.

Vučić said that they have written down that people from the barricades will not be prosecuted.

"Can we really believe everything and are we sure how Kurti will behave... I am not sure and I do not believe. What else?" Vučić asked.
