(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić addressed Serbian citizens today with a video message, stating that yesterday was one of the hardest days for Serbia and "that we will have many troubles and problems in the future."
"We will have many troubles and problems that we will face in the future, and that is why we need unity," the president stated on the "Budućnostsrbijeav" account.
"From those from whom I expected it due to the responsibility they should have shown, we did not get it. We got their unification, regardless of the fact that they said the complete opposite just a few days earlier, on a topic where no one should be going against someone," says Vučić.
He adds that, unfortunately, "they chose to go against Serbia this time as well."
"To them and all international representatives, and above all to you, dear citizens of Serbia, I will talk about everything, about all topics, about all the problems we are facing and the elections that lie ahead of us on Monday afternoon. We will preserve Serbia, we will defend it. Long live Serbia," said Vučić.
Yesterday, the President of Serbia met with the "big five" – with the EU Special Envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue Miroslav Lajčak, the US Special Envoy for the Western Balkans Gabriel Escobar, the advisors for foreign and security policy of the President of France and the German Chancellor, Emmanuel Bonne and Jens Pletner, and the diplomatic advisor to the Prime Minister of Italy, Francesco Talo.
Otherwise, the Government of Serbia has invited President Vučić to attend the Government session on Monday, at the Palace of Serbia.
