Vučić presents new package of economic measures to improve living standards

(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić will today present a new package of economic measures to significantly improve the living standards of all citizens of Serbia.

The Service for Cooperation with the Media of the Serbian President announced the presentation of the measures for 11:00 AM at the Palace of Serbia in Belgrade.

Vučić previously stated that the best measures for ordinary people, for all citizens of Serbia, will be presented, and their implementation will begin as early as September 1st.

He stated that interest rates on cash and consumer loans will be lowered and that they will be incomparably easier to obtain.

He also emphasized that citizens will be able to obtain loans at the lowest possible interest rates because the interest rates will be reduced by 30 to 40 percent.

- I think our bank, Poštanska štedionica, will have the lowest interest rate, but all others will also have to have much lower ones.

And when you consider that, you take a dinar loan, and it's almost 11 percent now, imagine reducing interest rates by 30 or 40 percent. That is an incredible success - said Vučić.

He stated that the measures include additional support in various segments, primarily for the poorest citizens and pensioners.

- You will see, there are no more scams (with traders). Oh, he raised the price, and then he supposedly lowered it, and so on. We now have prices taken from suppliers and a margin limit.

You can raise the price to 500, but take it, master, and pay the supplier 300 and 400. And he wants to pay 30 and 40.

He can't play with that anymore. So we will do a lot of good for the people, a lot of good for the people, and I am very happy about it - announced Vučić.
