(Patria) - Serbia is interested in hosting a meeting between the leaders of Russia and the USA, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, stated Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.

- Serbia is outside both blocs, and NATO and the CSTO, a fundamentally independent and sovereign country, fully prepared to guarantee full security for both presidents.

Since I see some offering their place for the Putin - Trump meeting, I would like to officially say for the first time - yes, Serbia is interested in being the meeting place for the presidents of the Russian Federation and the USA.

Why? Serbia is not only formally outside military blocs, like some countries offering their hosting. Serbia is fundamentally outside both blocs, thus NATO and the CSTO, a fundamentally independent and sovereign country - said Vučić as a guest on Pink television.
