Vučić: Government reshuffle necessary, some ministers are tired

(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated today that the government reshuffle is a matter for Prime Minister Miloš Vučević and the SNS as the "most responsible, best and most important political party in Serbia".

- If they ask me, and I believe they will, I will tell them what I think. I believe that significant changes are needed on this issue as well. Some people have grown tired, they are already used to being ministers and it has become routine for them, and it is not good when something becomes routine. You must have energy - Vučić said for RTS.

He could not specify what changes will be made in the government because, as he said, he is not the one making the final decision, but he will certainly say what he thinks.

- This is a difficult time, and whenever you have a problem in Serbia, like the tragedy in Ribnikar or now in Novi Sad, it always shows who is with you and who behaves cowardly and hides, within the party and among coalition partners. They hide in a mouse hole - Vučić said.

He added that coalition partners will also be reviewed as part of the government reshuffle.

- I am absolutely sure of that. We let mistakes slide, one after another, a third... At some point you lose trust. That is when it is time to change things - Vučić concluded.
