Vučić: No difference between Croatia and the Independent State of Croatia (NDH)

(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated yesterday that Croatia, by deciding to ban pro-Serbian and pro-Russian Montenegrin officials Andrija Mandić, Milan Knežević, and Aleksa Bečić, has shown that there is no difference between present-day Croatia and the former Independent State of Croatia (NDH).

The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia, through a note sent to the Embassy of Montenegro in Zagreb, previously informed the official Podgorica that Zagreb had declared the President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mandić, Member of Parliament Knežević, and Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro Bečić as undesirable in Croatia.

The decision was made after MPs in the Montenegrin parliament adopted the Resolution on the genocide in the Jasenovac, Dachau, and Mauthausen camps.

- How did it not occur to you that by banning these people from entering, they fell into their own trap and showed that they make no difference compared to the NDH and any other Croatian state that has existed - Vučić told Belgrade journalists in Paris yesterday.

He said that he "does not understand why everyone has united in protecting the NDH and the Ustasha crimes from World War II".

- Why don't they say - we committed a crime, genocide against these Serbs, and we are sorry. Neither Picula nor others feel any discomfort in invoking the legal and political continuity from the NDH - said Vučić.
