Vučić announced: All available documentation on the Novi Sad Railway Station will be released today

(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated last night that all documentation regarding the demolition of the canopy at the Novi Sad Railway Station that has so far arrived at the prosecutor's office will be publicly released today by noon.

In this way, Vučić added, the main demand of the students blocking the faculties will be met.

Addressing the citizens from the Presidency of Serbia, Vučić said that it concerns eight large binders and a total of 195 documents.

He emphasized that students can always access this documentation and that he will personally hand it over to them, as soon as they elect their representatives.

And so that the documentation, as he said, does not fall into the wrong hands, he asked Prime Minister Miloš Vučević and the future Minister of Construction Aleksandra Damnjanović Sofronijević to publish it on their websites.

- We will fulfill this, I would say the most important of all demands, which is important for the truth, for the facts, for everything that follows, for everything that is important for accountability, for finding those who must bear responsibility for the 15 tragically deceased. And that is my job as President of the Republic. I knew that no one was hiding anything - said Vučić.

He also adds that he knew that when they talked about hiding documentation, it was a lie within a hybrid war that was used, abused in the dirtiest way, and nothing more than that.

- So, all the documentation we have obtained, everything that the prosecutor's office has, will be made available to the entire public tomorrow. I regret that they did not ask for those contracts from 60 years ago, they would have seen all sorts of things in them, but they did not.

I then understood that they intentionally want to heat up this atmosphere, that something is secret. I myself requested from the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, all documentation as President of the Republic, and from the public enterprise Serbian Railways Infrastructure, and from all available sources.

And I decided to bring this documentation and make it available to the public and hand it over to the students. Exactly as they asked. Just let them authorize someone. So I know I'm not giving it to just anyone off the street - stated Vučić last night, who showed the binders with the documentation he was talking about during the press conference.
