(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić tonight, on the show Ćirilica on TV Happy, addressed accusations that he was a sniper above Sarajevo hills during the war in the nineties, as well as that he carried beer to his former boss, the leader of the radicals and convicted war criminal, Vojislav Šešelj, stating that these are lies against him.
“The logic is strange, I have been in power for ten and a half years, I have never said an ugly word, and they called me a ‘sniper from the hill’, then they put a rifle in my hand in a montage instead of an umbrella. They invented everything. In a photomontage, they put a rifle on me, and I was carrying an umbrella. Even the former Croatian Prime Minister posted that on Twitter,” said Vučić.
He also spoke about the “famous” photomontage on which he is carrying a crate of beer for his former boss.
“They invented it, just as they invented that I carried beer to Šešelj. I was carrying election material, and I wouldn’t be ashamed even if I did,” he said.
