
(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić spoke on Saturday in Prague with Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, about the situation in the region, Serbia's European path, the implementation of projects envisaged by the European Growth Plan for the Western Balkans, as well as the overall relations between Serbia and the EU.
Vučić wrote on Instagram that it was an "excellent conversation with von der Leyen," thanking the President of the European Commission for her understanding and personal engagement regarding the progress of Serbia and the entire Western Balkans on the path of EU approximation, particularly in the areas of accelerating social and economic integration.
"I reiterated that Serbia is committed to its reform agenda, and that it is a serious and responsible partner of the EU in all activities aimed at building a common and prosperous future for all our citizens," the Serbian president stated.
