Army and police with long guns, drones and helicopter in action: Double murderer Alija Balijagić located near Bijelo Polje

(Patria) - Double murderer Alija Balijagić (64) was, by all accounts, located this morning in Orahovica, not far from Bijelo Polje.

The village has been surrounded by strong forces of police and the Army of Montenegro armed with long guns.

All roads are blocked, drones and a helicopter are in the air, Novosti reports.

Unease is present at every step.

Classes have been suspended in the primary schools in Sutivan and Kanje.

The Higher Court in Bijelo Polje issued an order to issue an international arrest warrant for Alija Balijagić, who on Friday around 9 PM in Sokolac near Tomaševo, municipality of Bijelo Polje, murdered siblings Jovan (60) and Milenka Madžgalj (69) in their home for no reason, a few hours after they had hosted him and served him lunch and drinks.

After the murder, fear spread throughout the area, and locals are demanding the resignations of police officials.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Montenegro, Danilo Šaranović, emphasized that the Ministry of Internal Affairs is in constant communication with the police of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.

Balijagić has spent 32 years in prison so far.
