RS Government Bans Entry to Slovenian President Nataša Pirc Musar and Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon

(Patria) - The RS Government today expressed protest over the unilateral and "politically motivated decision to impose a ban on entry to RS President Milorad Dodik in the Republic of Slovenia".

At today's, 2nd telephone session, the RS Government assessed that the ban on entry to the former RS President "was adopted without a clear legal basis and reasons, and that it constitutes direct interference in internal affairs and a violation of international conventions, and represents a step backwards in relations and the European perspective of the region".

"To protect the political and institutional integrity of the RS, the RS Government, in accordance with international practices, adopts reciprocal measures and imposes a ban on entry to the RS for the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Slovenian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Tanja Fajon," it is stated in the conclusions of today's session.

The RS Ministry of Internal Affairs has been ordered to prevent the aforementioned individuals from entering the territory of the RS, as well as to escort them out of the entity's borders if they are staying in the RS.
