(Patria) - Students, citizens, and all those who joined the organizers in blocking three bridges in Novi Sad have been at Liberty Bridge since 6 PM, which will be blocked for 24 hours.
An endless column of participants headed towards the bridge, and today a symbol of the protest, a bloody hand pulled by a boat, was in the Danube River.
Numerous students from Belgrade, who arrived in Novi Sad on Friday evening after two days of walking, as well as from other cities who have been blocking faculties since December demanding accountability for the tragedy in Novi Sad, joined the students in Novi Sad.
Today marked three months since the collapse of the canopy at the renovated railway station in Novi Sad, which killed 14 people, with a 15th victim succumbing later. Two people sustained serious injuries.
A wave of student protests began to spread two months ago, and at the end of December, an indictment was filed against several individuals for the accident in Novi Sad.
You can follow the 24-hour blockade live via the YouTube channel created by the students.
