(Patria) - The basketball teams of Red Star and Paris met tonight in the 20th round of the EuroLeague, and before the match itself, Red Star fans performed a controversial choreography on the occasion of the Day of Republika Srpska.
Red Star fans raised papers with the coat of arms of the RS Army, while a large banner with the same symbol was displayed above the stands.
In addition, the entire hall echoed with songs and chants for "Republika Srpska," overshadowing the usual support for the team before the start of the match.
The leaflets distributed to fans contained messages expressing support for "the entity on the other side of the Drina."
It is expected that the EuroLeague will review this incident and decide whether to take measures regarding such conduct.
"As in previous times, tonight as well, with this choreography we want to show that we are with our brother across the Drina, the same faith, the same people, the same struggle," read the leaflets distributed to spectators in the hall.
