(Patria) - A fire broke out early this morning in Pisak, a town on the Adriatic coast between Omiš and Makarska, and according to Croatian media, the forest above the main road is burning, which has also been closed in that section.
Firefighting teams are on the ground, and the situation is changing rapidly due to the wind and inaccessible terrain.
Residents are trying to protect their homes, while tourists, visibly upset, are leaving the town.
There is no information about injuries so far.
