ITA BiH collected 383 million KM more compared to 2024

(Patria) - Indirect tax revenues in the first eight months of 2025 amounted to 7 billion and 886 million KM, an increase of 383 million KM or 5.10 percent compared to the same period in 2024 when they amounted to 7 billion and 503 million KM, announced the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH.

In the first eight months of 2025, the Authority refunded VAT to taxpayers who exercised their legal right to a refund in the amount of 1 billion and 446 million KM.

Net collected revenues distributed to beneficiaries in the first eight months of 2025, namely the state, entities and Brčko District, amounted to 6 billion and 440 million KM, an increase of 4.8 percent compared to revenues allocated to beneficiaries in the first eight months of 2024.

In August 2025, 1 billion and 36 million KM of indirect taxes were collected, which is 28 million KM more compared to August 2024.

For the financing of state institutions in the first eight months of 2025, an amount of 662 million KM was allocated. The remainder of collected indirect tax revenues went to the entities and Brčko District.

Thus, the Federation of BiH received 3 billion and 550 million KM from the single account, the Republika Srpska 1 billion and 989 million KM, and Brčko District 199 million KM.

In addition to the allocated revenues, based on a special toll for the construction of highways and the construction and reconstruction of other roads (0.25 KM), the Federation of BiH received an additional 161 million KM, the Republika Srpska 107 million KM, and Brčko District 5 million KM. The difference represents a reserve in the special toll account in the amount of 0.25 KM, announced the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH.
