(Patria) - Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dačić stated this evening that the police have restored public order and peace in Belgrade and that 42 police officers were injured at gatherings in Serbia, 26 of whom in Belgrade, seven in Valjevo, and nine in Pančevo, while 37 people were arrested.
Dačić told reporters that protests and attacks on police and the premises of the Serbian Progressive Party are ongoing at eight or nine locations in Serbia.
Clashes have occurred in several cities, and numerous world media outlets are reporting on the protests in Serbia.
Tear gas was also thrown, and several people were beaten.
