Murder in Belgrade: One young man stabbed in the heart, another sustains arm injuries

(Patria) - One man was killed and another wounded with a cold weapon at the corner of Ustanička Street and Grčića Milenka Street in Belgrade.

A 27-year-old man was killed by a knife stab to the heart this morning before 4:00 at the corner of Ustanička Street and Grčića Milenka Street, the Emergency Service told RTS.

Earlier, the Emergency Service received a call about a traffic accident at the same location, but the team found only a car overturned on its roof with no patients inside or around it. Then a second call arrived.

"Just an hour later, at the same place, a physical attack with a knife occurred on two people, aged 23 and 27, of whom the 23-year-old received a cut in the upper arm area, while, unfortunately, the 27-year-old received a knife stab wound in the heart area and, unfortunately, died at the scene," said Dr. Vladimir Sinđelić.

A search is underway for, as confirmed to RTS by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, two unknown persons. The police investigation is ongoing.
